Lemon Cake Bar's

1 box one step Angel Food Cake mix

1- 15oz can Lemon Pie filling

Fold Lemon and Cake mix together until moist.  Be sure not to over stir.

Bake in a 9x13 cake pan at 350* until golden brown on the top (about 20-30 minutes).

Cool completely before eating.

As they are cooling, you can sprinkle with powder sugar if you wish.

They have more of an angel food cake texture than a traditional lemon bar texture.

You know how I'm these day's  go for easy.

And not much sugar, I have to watch it.

Sad New's...my neighbors got home ok,

but found that some one had brook in

the back door and really trashed the place.

Called the Cap's they never came out to busy.

Any way so for it's been about 4 hour's now.

When I was it, I couldn't believe it and just

wanted to screem ,and have a hard time not to cry.

What a mess to come home too.and at thre age.

Sorry but this has realy gotten to me.

Happy and scared

I'm happy that my neighber, is coming home from Ind.
She called and said they would leve Fri. night
It will be so good to have them back. I all
ways miss them so. They are not of my faith.
but good people who love the Lord.
 Praying they have a safe trip home.

 

Yes I'm scared, I believe that some how I've step on

some glass and it's still in my foot. Both my grls

have to get it out,but just a pice if that. Going to

go over see if my other daughter to see if she can.

I have a Doctor appointment this coming tuse.

Please keep me in your prayers

. And also keep our old cat

 Daisy in yor prayers as well.

She realy needs to be put down

I do think, but no way of doing it.

Yes it's a lovely day out today
Anyway that's what I think.
It's raining and the temp goes
down in the 90% they say for
the next 4days.So much better
then the 100% any time.
I would like it if it could stay
75% - 95% well...I'm nuts.

Found BW out watching the rain.

It was morning when I started out.

BW got up to get in to the cupboards
He like's to every now and then.
He get in them and hide's if he can.

Don't know why I started this when I have other things to do.
And have problems with PC not share whats worng.
Been trying to fix but don't know how.
Going to take a brake.

It was a good morning for a while anyway.

I want to start making these's soon.

1 can Cherry Pie filling (or fruit pie filling of your choice) **2 cans can be used for the fruit lover**
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350*.
Spray 8x8 pan with cooking spray.
Pour entire can of pie filling in bottom of pan
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top of pie filling.
Cut butter in slices and arrange evenly on top of dry cake mix
Cover with foil. Place in oven and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Remove foil and place out to cool. Serve warm or cold.


To double this for a 9x13 pan...........

3 cans pie filling
1 1/2 cake mix
2 sticks of butter

prepare same as above... but baking time will need to be 90 minutes or so.
you can take the foil off at the 90 minute point to check ... if its not a nice golden brown all over you can leave it in uncovered until it browns.
Use whatever kind of pie filling you like.

Sorry PC is still a mess.
Hoping this day gets better.
PC is doing whatever it wants

Any ways one can hope.

I had hope to get out to church today.

But didn't sleep well do to pain.

I'm just going to have to take stronger stuff.

This just know way to live life.

One dreams of the Golden Years....

Well there real is none as I know.

But we do need dreams.

Hope...Faith to get us though.

I ounce dreath that old age was golden.

Here's two of them.

But could not be.

So try to fine some thing.

To keep moving on.

It's been hard...but doable.

Because of faith in God's plan.

Family's are Forever.

WE are so Bless.

Amanda gone to Presscott to a sinle aduit,
Regional Conference YSA. It should be fun.

So I'm more less alone, plenny to do.
But don't realy feel like it.
Haven"t felt good all week, and haven"t
got the sleep I need ether, enough of that.

I put a pot of beans on for tonight.
Will try to tiddy aroud the house some.
Wonder what Sept. holds?

I'm in the Sept. of my life I like to think.

Nice day to bake

 

It makes 2 loaves, too...

Here is the recipe..

No knead Rosemary Bread..

2 1/2 tsp. instant yeast

2 c. warm water

1 T. sugar

2 tsp. salt

4 c. flour

2 tsp. chopped rosemary

olive oil..

Just put the water and sugar in your mixing bowl and stir well ..

Add the yeast and stir again..

Add two cups of flour and stir well.. Then add the other 2 cups of flour and salt and mix well with a wood spoon..

Cover with a damp tea towel and rise for an hour or until doubled..

Then with oiled hands divide dough into two parts or( make just one bread pan size) and form into buns ... 

Sprinkle top with sea salt and chopped rosemary.(opt)

Let rise a second time...

Bake in an 375 degree oven for 30 - 35 minutes 

Just to let you know that I usually turn this into just one loaf and put it in a good size sprayed bread pan or in a pie pan..

And leave out the rosemary and salt some time's. 

You can substitute the flour with part wholewheat or 12 grain if desired..

I "m hungry for homemake bread....so have to make some.
Now days my hands hurt to much to beable to knead it.
I"ve always loved good homemake breads right out of the oven.
It"s a nice day to bake I think.
